During the 1960s and 70s, a few women composers began breaking through the music industry’s gender barrier. They were true trailblazers – role models who showed a new generation of women that they could and should find their own voices through their songwriting gifts.

This concert features Multiplicity's jazz inspired arrangements of songs composed by Carole King, Joni Mitchell, Laura Nyro, Billie Holiday, Marian McPartland and others.

Multiplicity returns to the Orland Park Library to perform a one hour concert program entitled "Summer in the City".

This free performance is Multiplicity's jazz quintet's musical tribute to the female singer songwriters of the 60s and 70s. The program entitled "Tapestry Unfolding" features unique arrangements of the music of Carole King, Laura Nyro, Joni Mitchell and other contemporaries. The program starts at 2:30 PM and is scheduled to last 60-70 minutes.

Multiplicity is exited to bring our music back to Hayward's Park Center for a Reunion Road Concert featuring Michael Levin on Woodwinds and Joe Lindzius on drums. This is a matinee performance starting at 2 PM.

Dance the evening away, participate in parlor games from that bygone era, enjoy lite bites and beverages from the White Winter Winery. Break out the spats, fedoras, and flapper dresses because there will be a costume contest.

NorthLakes Community Clinic and White Winter Winery are coming together to offer a unique evening of entertainment to raise funds for NorthLakes. On Saturday, March 7th the White Winter Winery will be transformed into a 1920’s era speakeasy complete with jazz music provided by Multiplicity;s (Reunion Road Band) from Chicago featuring local favorite Joe Lindzius on drums.

Multiplicity returns to the Rolling Meadows Library with one hour concert entitled Autumn Collage that features unique arrangements of popular songs that celebrate the start of the fall season. This performance features Barbara Kalnes on vocals, Tom Kalnes on piano and keyboard, Gary Swiontek on bass, Rick Vitek on drums and multifaceted Michael Levin on woodwinds.

The performance will be in the Hendrickson Room of the AHML Library at 2 PM.

Creative interpreters of the Great American Songbook, Multiplicity Jazz Ensemble captivates listeners and engages them in memorable music from the Big Band Era to the Beatles and beyond.

Weather permitting, this one hour concert will be performed outdoors on the patio.
